A Good and Uplifting Time Was Had by All

The Fundraiser for Revolution Summer!, held on June 25 in a Chicago suburb, was an inspiring event in front of and involving a full house of about 50 people, of diverse ages and backgrounds.  The Revolution Club was in the house and some young members told why they came to the front lines in Chicago.  "BA Through the Years - 1969, 1979, 2003" was shown, and Club members wielded BAsics and spoke with heart and substance about why they followed Bob Avakian and how they worked to connect him to the masses they were trying to get out of killing each other and organize into the revolution. Carl Dix represented and Joe Veale gave a challenging funds pitch.   A special treat was a performance by virtuoso jazz singer Maggie Brown.  There was a lot of mingling after the program.  A good and uplifting time was had by all.
