Episode 63 of The RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less—Show!

Bob Avakian on American Slavery & Genocide; Plus “Critical Race Theory” & Forget the Alamo

A battle is raging over white supremacy and America. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn testifies about Trump’s mob assailing him with racist epithets during the January 6 insurrection. Tucker Carlson and fascist politicians lash out against “Critical Race Theory,” pushing for state-backed LIES to be taught in the schools. A new book, Forget the Alamo: The Rise and Fall of an American Myth, exposes the white supremacy of the Alamo’s myth and is immediately targeted for attack itself. The truth of this country is put powerfully by Bob Avakian, “The USA: Founded on Slavery and Genocide!” and what is needed is “Revolution, Nothing Less!” Now is the time, precisely when more people are seeing – or are open to – this truth, to wrench big advances in the struggle for a real revolution to bring about a much better future for all humanity.

In this episode:

** Host Andy Zee speaks briefly with Carl Dix about his upcoming program at Revolution Books in Harlem and the recent film of the article titled “Bob Avakian for the Liberation of Black People and the Emancipation of Humanity.”

** Bob Avakian on “The USA: Founded on Slavery and Genocide!” from his 2012 talk, BA Speaks: REVOLUTION—NOTHING LESS!

** Rafael Kadaris of the National Revolution Tour is interviewed by Sunsara Taylor about the fascist assault on “Critical Race Theory” and how this really is an assault on the teaching of any of the truth about this country’s history of white supremacy, racism, slavery, genocide, and ongoing oppression.

** Forget the Alamo: The Rise and Fall of an American Myth is the righteous title of a recent book by Bryan Burrough, Chris Tomlinson, and Jason Stanford. Sunsara Taylor will talk with Jason Stanford about the real history of Texas that everyone needs to understand.

** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: We strongly encourage our viewers to start planning watch parties for our next episode (Episode 64 on August 5) now. This episode of The #RNLshow will feature segments of an important presentation from our host, Andy Zee, reflecting on Bob Avakian’s new piece, “This Is a Rare Time When Revolution Becomes Possible – Why That Is So, and How to Seize on This Rare Opportunity.” This event will be held at Revolution Books in Harlem on August 4.
