Notes from the Revolution Club Organizing Center in Cleveland:

A place where everyone is being treated like they are important, human, and part of something bigger than themselves

The Revolution Club is in Cleveland, taking out the Message from the Central Committee of  the RCP, USA: Time To Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution to the projects, the Trump protesters  and everywhere, denouncing the RNC slogan "Make America Great Again" with signs, banner, and agitation: "America was NEVER great." Out in the world and inside the community center where the Revolution Club volunteers from across the country have been organizing, a culture and morality is being forged and lived, guided and animated by the New Synthesis of Communism developed by Bob Avakian. They are living, fighting and wrangling with big questions collectively. This is a snapshot of what one woman said after spending about an hour at the organizing center.

Look at this. There isn't anywhere like this, but it should be. I have never met a group of people who are so respectful yet so determined. Look at this. People of all ages, so many nationalities, different genders, different backgrounds, in all this lively conversation with each other. Working together and with such love for each other and those you meet. Such anger against the way people are treated all around the world. Such curiosity. People don't agree on everything, but everyone is being treated like they are important, human, and part of something bigger than themselves.

We are living and fighting this way because we understand on a basic level, this is what it takes today to get to a different world. This is what it takes today to break from old traditions and ideas, learning from and challenging each other and everyone we meet. Because we follow the leadership of Bob Avakian we understand that a radically different, better world is possible through revolution and communism, and we can't get there by playing along with all the ways this system has divided us, trained us in nasty competitive habits and dehumanizing notions—we are determined to make an actual revolution, and transform ourselves in service of transforming the whole world. And you know what? People notice.
