Los tuareg, que viven en la región de Air de Níger, son agricultores y pastores de cabras y ovejas. El problema de Níger no es escasez de comida sino que no está al alcance de su bolsillo debido a las fuerzas del mercado capitalista. Además, las medidas impuestas por el Banco Mundial y el Fondo Monetario Internacional han tergiversado la economía y aumentado la explotación del pueblo.
These photos show Tuareg people the Air region of Niger who live by combining farming with the raising of goats and sheep. Even though Niger has available food, millions of people face severe hunger and starvation because the capitalist market has jacked up food prices and put it beyond their reach. In addition international imperialist agencies have intesified starvations through demands that distort, disrupt and exploit the economies and the people.
