What percentage of cops (especially white cops) are not supporters of Trump? Maybe (maybe) 10 percent (or less). That small number is about the same percentage of Black people who are Trump supporters. That should tell you something—it should tell you a lot! For one thing, it shows why the struggle against police brutality and murder is closely linked with the need for mass mobilization to demand Trump/Pence OUT NOW! And, beyond that, it shows how rotten to the core this whole system is: a system of power—not “of” the people, but over the people—which has brought to the presidency the hard-core racist Trump, and relies on a police force of hard-core racists!
