Two days after the election of Donald Trump, the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian said:

This is not a time for demoralization and despair—it is a time for righteous anger and revolutionary determination.

Bob Avakian (BA) has analyzed that "This election brings out sharply that there really are 'two countries' within this country." That this is a "fundamental division that has existed since the beginning of the so-called 'United States' of America, with its foundation in slavery and genocide..." And that "This division into 'two countries' can find no good resolution under this system."

The fascist side of this divide is unleashed and on the march—itching for their time of open white supremacy, hurling women and LGBT people backwards, ethnic cleansing through mass deportations, theocratic rule and rule through open violence and terror. But we—the decent people who care about humanity and the future—cannot hand these fascists the future.

Through his social media platform, @BobAvakianOfficial, he breaks down why "so long as things are on the terms of this system—and limited within the confines of this system—the fascists will have initiative which decent people cannot have." He is challenging people to "look seriously for solutions outside and beyond this system." He is the only leader in this country even talking about making a real revolution. A leader with a whole new framework for human emancipation.
