Students, youths and others across the country stepped out June 2 to 5 to protest and stop the Supreme Court from taking away the right to abortion from women. These actions were very broad, and many were answering the call from Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights.
Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights called on people to GET OUT & GREEN UP! “In bold, creative, furious and joyful ways, gather and slather yourselves in green and get out everywhere spreading the green.”
And it called on people to meet the stepped up urgency of getting into the streets to stop the Supreme Court’s overturning of abortion rights for millions of women and girls—to disrupt life as usual—and challenged people to put their bodies “upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus—and you've got to make it stop!”
The Supreme Court is on track to decimate abortion rights by overturning Roe v. Wade.
Their decision is coming any day now.
This Must Be STOPPED and IT CAN BE STOPPED
But only if we act together and fast. If we show in our millions, that we will bring the gears of society to a grinding halt before we allow the Supreme Court to decimate abortion rights!

MONDAY JUNE 6 DIE-INS: HOW CAN I ACT AND WHY THIS TYPE OF ACTION?
Grab 5 people or 500, gather at some place bound to get attention and do a disruptive die-in aimed at getting the attention of those who pass, getting out on social media, and getting in the major media. Should this be done at a crowded shopping mall? in a busy plaza or transit hub? in front of a tunnel or the middle of a freeway? Yes! The possibilities are endless.

Several brave women stripped down to their underwear and disrupted Joel Osteen's Megachurch service on June 5th, yelling out, "My Body, My Fucking Choice!" and "Overturn Roe? Hell No!" They waved the Green Bandana, the symbol of abortion rights that came out of Latin America, and continued chanting as security ushered them out. They were acting on the orientation posted on the RiseUp4AbortionRights.org website which states, "[P]eople in our millions [must] make clear, through massive non-violent resistance, that we will bring the gears of society to a grinding halt before we allow the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade."
Through their actions, they objectively posed the question to all: WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON? WHAT WILL YOU DO?

During the 4th inning of the Dodgers game against the NY Mets in Los Angeles on June 5th, activists with Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights unfurled a giant bright green banner that stretched all the way to the lower level that read, "OVERTURN ROE? HELL NO! RiseUp4AbortionRights.org" and rained down green stickers that said the same into the stands. Green became the color of the struggle for abortion rights in Argentina and quickly spread throughout Latin America and now to the U.S. and the world. The incident spread quickly over social media.
