This system of capitalism-imperialism is the source of all the outrages and madness that people are subjected to, here and all over the world—and it is long past time it be swept off the face of the Earth.
Revolution is even more possible in the time we live in now. The fact that this system, in this country, has taken the extreme expression of bringing a fascist regime to power is a manifestation of the thoroughly rotten and illegitimate nature of this system as a whole—and the fact that the ruling class in this country can no longer rule in the way it has for generations, as a unified ruling class. Society is ripping apart in ways that can no longer be covered over or held together. Things that once seemed impossible are now happening all the time. In this situation, the forces for the revolution that is urgently needed could grow, quickly, from small numbers to thousands, and then millions, and get in position to go for the whole thing.
To seize this time, throughout society we are organizing:
THE REVCOM CORPS For The Emancipation Of Humanity
We are united around two principles:
- Humanity Needs Revolution and The New Communism brought forward by Bob Avakian (BA)
- Fight the Power, and Transform the People — for Revolution
REVOLUTION is NOT small changes that leave this system in place and in power. REAL revolution means defeating the violent enforcers of this monstrous system; abolishing this system, with all its oppressive institutions, and its governing U.S. Constitution; and establishing a far better system, based on the Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America, written by Bob Avakian—bringing into being a society, and ultimately a world, free from all forms of slavery, all exploitation and oppression based on class, race, sex, and gender, all relations in which one part of humanity is subordinated to and dominated by others.
The New Communism brought forward by Bob Avakian (BA) has further developed, and applied, communism as a science. It builds on the lessons and accomplishments of past revolutions but also breaks with and discards a lot of wrong thinking, wrong methods, and wrong practices, that seriously undermined the first wave of communist revolutions. What BA has developed is a whole new framework for human emancipation that is very different, and much better than what came before. Bob Avakian is completely different from the endless stream of bourgeois politicians who are put forward as “leaders.” He is someone who is heart and soul, hardcore serious about a revolution where people can get all-the-way free. We follow, spread, and fight for this leadership because it is our greatest strength to be able to make an emancipating revolution.
Fight the Power, and Transform the People — for Revolution is a strategic approach we apply in all that we do. Shaking up the whole country and waking people up to the need and possibility for revolution... waging fierce struggle to break people out of the bullshit ways of thinking and acting… uniting with and mobilizing people to stand up against the injustices and outrages perpetrated by this system... organizing to defend the people from attacks on their rights and lives… developing new leaders who take up the revolutionary road, the scientific method, and goal of The New Communism charted by BA. All with the aim of achieving the “three prepares”: prepare the ground (the situation in society), prepare masses of people, and prepare the organized leadership, for the all-out revolutionary struggle.
