After the ICE gestapo killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, people were out in the streets in Minneapolis and across the country in her memory and in righteous anger at the cold-blooded murder by the armed thugs of the Trump fascist regime.
On the weekend of January 10 and 11, under the call “ICE Out for Good” from Indivisible and many different groups, there were over 1,000 actions across the country. Thousands marched in Minneapolis, and there were marches and rallies in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and other big cities, as well as many smaller cities and towns. In DC, hundreds marched around the White House chanting “Trump Must Go Now” along with “ICE Out for Good.” On this page are sights and sounds from some of the protests this weekend.
As we say in “On the Cold-Blooded Murder of Renee Nicole Good: What Are You—What Are We—Gonna Do Now?”: “Get in the streets and spread mass nonviolent resistance into every corner of society. Unite all who can be united—and be willing to be “impolite.” These next days and weeks must see more people coming out and standing up, in much greater numbers. Schools must become sites of discussion and mobilization. On January 20, the first anniversary of Trump’s inauguration, the streets must be flooded with people around the demand THE TRUMP FASCIST REGIME MUST GO NOW!!”
