Members from the Revcom Corps for the Emancipation of Humanity are traveling from different parts of the country to take part in the People’s Conference for Palestine in Detroit from May 24-26. We are seeking financial support to cover the expenses of this trip, both from supporters of the revcoms, and from everyone who refuses to look away from the crimes of your government, and wishes for better world.

More than 40,000 Palestinians have been murdered since October 7. The genocide is escalating, and Israel, fully backed by the U.S., has started its invasion of Rafah, where 1.4 million Palestinians are sheltering and 800,000 have been forcefully evacuated. As of now, both the north and south are being viciously and relentlessly bombed. The people of Palestine have nowhere left to go and nothing to return to.

We have also seen the righteous uprising of student protesters putting their scholarships, visas, and degrees on the line in direct opposition of the genocide as well as the institutions within the U.S. that contribute to it. And along with that, we have also seen brutal retaliation from the powers that be. The Conference states “This moment calls on us to strengthen our relationships, our strategies, our tactics, and our unity for the struggle ahead. We must build a shared assessment of the moment, and chart out the next phase of our struggle.”

The Revcom Corps must be at the forefront fighting to unite all who can be united to STOP this genocide and as Bob Avakian states in social media dispatch 33:

[T]o put forth, encourage broad discussion and debate around, and win as many people as possible to, our understanding of the fundamental cause of all this injustice and oppression and what is necessary to put an end to it, and uproot the basis for it: our scientific understanding that all these injustices, all this oppression, is fundamentally rooted in this system of capitalism-imperialism, and—while resistance against this is very important—it will require a revolution to overthrow this system, and bring into being a fundamentally different and truly emancipating system, in order to actually eliminate and uproot all this injustice and oppression.
