At a time when the fascist regime now ruling the U.S. commits new atrocities every day, new violations of the rule of law, new threats against and ever more outrageous attacks on any and all who would oppose them—it is crucial that the No Kings Day demonstrations taking place this Saturday in over 2,000 cities and towns mark a massive outpouring, and that the November 5 demonstration in DC to drive out the fascist regime powerfully succeed. 

The importance of this is driven home by the foul attacks launched on the No Kings Day by the Republican House leadership—Mike Johnson, Steve Scalise, and Tom Emmer—that literally accused No Kings Day of “terrorism.” While this charge is ridiculous in regard to the truth, in this climate it is extremely dangerous. It must be taken as a warning and as a further wakeup call. This is fascism, moving to crush any and all significant dissent against it. 

The reality from the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian's major statement, REVOLUTION #141, “The Time Is Urgently Upon Us Now—To Drive Out The Trump Fascist Regime!,” screams out:

Every day this is driven home more and more forcefully and cruelly: There is no living with this Trump/MAGA fascism—it must be removed from power before it commits even more horrific atrocities and forcibly shuts down any real possibility of resistance.

Over this next week, this must reverberate through every corner of society: 

All Out to October 18 Across the Country, No Kings! All Out to November 5, Washington, DC, The Trump Fascist Regime Must Go NOW!

Those organizing the October 18, No Kings Day protests have put the purpose of the demonstrations that day as follows:

President Trump has doubled down. His administration is sending masked agents to our streets, terrorizing our communities. They are targeting immigrant families, profiling, arresting and detaining people without warrants. Threatening to overtake elections. Gutting healthcare, environmental protections, and education when families need them most. Rigging maps to silence voters. Ignoring mass shootings at our schools and in our communities. Driving up the cost of living while handing out massive giveaways to billionaire allies, as families struggle.

The President thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty.

The effect of millions marching around this banner will be tremendously positive. So it is extremely important that these demonstrations powerfully succeed. These demonstrations should and must be supported—and actively built for—by every progressive person… by everyone who detests fascism and the racism, misogyny, hatred of LGBT people, and rank chauvinism that permeates the regime… and by everyone who works for or aspires to a better world. Support and build these demonstrations, spreading the word and bringing people out in big numbers.

A major advance for the people on NO KINGS DAY can lift people’s hopes and sights to the potential to drive the Trump fascist regime from power with the nonviolent mass mobilization for Washington, DC on November 5. The Call for 11-05, The time has come for… The Fall of the Trump Fascist Regime—Beginning November 5, 2025—Washington, DC, must resonate and reverberate through building for and on NO KINGS DAY 2.0:

Beginning November 5, the one-year anniversary of Trump's election, flood DC in nonviolent protest. Surround the White House. Surround the Capitol. Surround the illegitimate fascist-packed Supreme Court. Come back again and again. Across the country, refuse to comply. Every person of conscience, millions of us together, grind the machinery of the fascist regime to a halt. 

Don't stop until Trump is removed.

…The future is unwritten. WHICH ONE WE GET IS UP TO US.

In the Name of Humanity, We REFUSE to Accept a Fascist America!

This means reaching out with this Call for November 5 in big numbers at NO KINGS DAY, as well as posters, bandanas and other materials. (Go here for the Refuse Fascism endorsement of No Kings Day!) There will be many coming out on that day who will want to know about November 5. Many who learn of November 5 will want to come to it and will be wanting a way to sign up and get active. Many will want to know how to become part of building for this and/or want ways of showing support. 

It is also important to get out the major statement by Bob Avakian, “The Time Is Urgently Upon Us Now—To Drive Out The Trump Fascist Regime!” This statement is very powerful all-around, and it gives a very living sense of how November 5 could actually “work”—that is, how a “‘political earthquake from below,’ in combination with heightening divisions within the dominant and ruling institutions, could lead to the removal of the Trump fascist regime.” This is a huge question being confronted by many who sincerely agonize over both the pace of Trumpian fascism and what can seem to be daunting odds in confronting it. And it is answered in Bob Avakian’s major statement.

It is more urgent than ever that people of many different backgrounds and beliefs recognize their common interests in opposing the Trump fascist regime, uniting all who can be united to support every effort to act against it, working to learn from our differences in a good way, overcoming divide-and-conquer schemes, and finding the ways to come together in major efforts.

So, again, over this next week: All Out for No Kings Day, October 18! And All Out for November 5, flooding DC with millions of people in relentless, nonviolent massive protest, and not stopping until this horrific fascist regime is gone.
