A radically different, and far better, system is possible. No one else—besides Bob Avakian—is even talking about making a real revolution to bring that radically different system into being. And no one else sees the revolutionary possibility in this dangerous time, and how we can act now to seize on this. And more Bob Avakian has developed the new communism—a framework to emancipate humanity, a framework for how people here and around the world can truly flourish.

With these stakes, we need to be asking, inviting and challenging people to donate everything they can to this now. Be direct and upfront with this—there's no reason to hesitate in giving people this chance—to impact society with a whole other way we could be living, and the chance for that now.

Bob Avakian has begun a new series, "A Profound Fight for the Soul of Black People: A Defeated People—Or, A Revolutionary People?" This is an urgent strategic intervention at a momentous time. And whether this has the reach and impact it urgently needs to have—literally reaching millions—depends on you: contributing and raising funds in a serious and determined way.

And this week, we are taking a big step to get @BobAvakianOfficial Everywhere by fighting to set way different terms against the persecution of immigrants, going to Springfield, Ohio with Bob Avakian’s voice and revolutionary leadership. (Springfield is the epicenter of the fascist anti-immigrant campaign being waged by Trump and Vance.)

Here's more on these two high-impact efforts with big funding needs this week:

** In his social media dispatch Revolution #91, Bob Avakian poses a sharp and urgent question: "A Profound Fight for the Soul of Black People: A Defeated People—Or, A Revolutionary People?"

This is an initial dispatch in a series from BA on this burning faultline question for revolution, at a time when the revolution we need is more possible. Breaking open a serious debate with this series, getting it in front of millions now has everything to do with whether or not this deep ideological and political challenge will be answered positively.

We need a minimum of $10,000 to advertise with this series from Bob Avakian (we really need much more than this, but $10,000 is a strong start). Take this out to people from every section of society—cultural events, forums, academic departments, housing projects and barbershops. Make big signs with the title of Revolution #91. Poster and project it on the walls. This really needs to move people to their depths—and given how deep the question is, there's a profound basis for this.

Everywhere you go, raise funds. Again, contributing to getting this series advertised — put in front of people throughout society, is a contribution to answering this question about the "soul of Black people" positively.

A Positive Sign to Build On

As just one aspect of the kind of advertising we need to do with this, we began a YouTube advertising campaign focused on reaching zip codes in and around the 25 largest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) in Miami, Atlanta, DC, Houston, Baltimore, San Antonio, New Orleans and more. 

In just a few hours, spending just a few hundred dollars, this got a high level of response and engagement. Bob Avakian's YouTube channel got 400 new subscribers! (These aren't necessarily HBCU students, but from the zip codes in and around these campuses.) Over 6,400 people have watched this dispatch, with over 2,500 of those watching it all the way to the end (for advertising, that's a high percentage). 

This is just a tiny sample of the kind of impact this dispatch can have—which can be GREATLY expanded with serious funds.

At the same time, this series from Bob Avakian needs to reach artists and thinkers, athletes and scientists, rappers and young people, all those who filled the streets in 2020 to demand the police stop killing Black people... and who have big questions about the future. Would you work over the next two weeks to raise at least $10,000 to get this message out even more broadly? There is plenty of basis and plenty of need to “knock on new doors” to raise money to spread these dispatches.

** Springfield, OH: While Trump and Vance spread ugly fascist lies against Haitian immigrants, whipping up dangerous racist mobs, and threatening mass deportations... and Biden/Harris let legal permissions expire for migrants from Haiti, Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua and deport more immigrants than Trump did... 

The revcoms are bringing the TRUTH to Springfield, OH from the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian: WHY DO PEOPLE COME HERE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD? Because the U.S. has messed up the rest of the world even worse than what they've done here.

On a bright and loud LED truck, this message will be rolling through the streets of Springfield for two days—coinciding with the next City Commission meeting on Tuesday night. These meetings have drawn the eyes of people all across the country—debating out whether people from around the world should be welcomed to this country, or whether they should be demonized and mass deported.

This whole effort—including advertising to project it after the fact—will cost at least $10,000. DONATE to get THIS message before the eyes of millions.

While millions are debating this question—largely on the terms set by the rulers of this system—donate to get the truth from Bob Avakian injected into the mass debate. In Revolution #26, Bob Avakian cuts through the noise and lies: "Why are these fascists so aggressively spreading racist anti-immigrant hysteria—and why should any decent person get played by this? Who, and what, is really responsible for the terrible situation that people are facing today? Hint: It is not immigrants. It is the system, the ruling class of this system, and the politicians of both ruling class political parties, Democrat as well as Republican."

** We held our first National zoom call to discuss Revolution #88: “A Rare Time, and Urgent Need—for Revolution—Not Continuing Enslavement to this System.”

It was a good beginning to forge an online community of people who are spreading @BobAvakianOfficial, raising funds, and joining the ranks of the revolution. 

Through the call, everyone got a deeper understanding of this point from Bob Avakian “This is not a time to be siding with one group of oppressors or another. This is a rare time—a very rare opening—a chance that may come only once in a lifetime—a chance to take advantage of the deep divisions among the ruling oppressors and go after their whole system, with the aim of bringing the whole thing down, and putting something much better in its place.”

By the end, people had a sense of the difference this message and all of BA's social media messages will make as things are likely coming to a head. Once again underlining the need for major funds and creative bold action and initiative from people nationwide.
