This decision from SCOTUS siding with the Trump regime’s outrageous challenge to needed judicial injunctions sets a dangerous precedent. At this moment, as families are being ripped apart with immigrant parents and children being dragged off city streets by ICE gestapo, birthright citizenship will be suspended for most of the country—and thousands of newborn children could be rendered stateless—for an indefinite period of time. 

The ability of federal courts to stop Trump's fascist orders will be shattered, because the case being heard by SCOTUS is about whether or not federal courts can issue a nationwide injunction to stop unconstitutional orders.

This will be a big leap to an all-out fascist America where nobody has any Constitutional rights, because it will mean Trump can issue and carry out orders that are directly against the Constitution. Birthright citizenship is not a policy or law, it is guaranteed by the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Refuse Fascism will protest this decision in front of the Supreme Court at 3:00 pm today.

Andy Zee of Refuse Fascism said, “The Supreme Court's decision to green-light and thus normalize for now Trump's unconstitutional attack on birthright citizenship is an outrage and illegitimate. It furthers the terrorizing, demonization and the Gestapo-like disappearing of immigrants. This decision dangerously erodes the constitutional oversight by the judiciary to halt unlawful edicts. This is fascism, and is one more reason why the people must remove Trump from power through unrelenting, nonviolent protest. Trump must go now.”
