With the backdrop of the Democratic National Genocide Convention, people across the country have been spreading the word about the revolutionary clarity and truth coming from the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian (BA) on social media. 

BA is speaking to what's really going on with this DNC: 

** This weekend, people in Chicago and the Bay Area did banner drops... and posters went up from NY to LA.

** There's an important and insightful letter from a reader to revcom.us, Bringing People the Truth About Bob Avakian with Simplicity, Substance and Swagger. Read it, discuss it with others and apply it. The letter makes the important point: 

Besides BA and the revcoms he leads, no other person, organization or political force in this country is even talking about making a real revolution. 

The letter gets into how people who want to see this revolution should be out there fighting for this essential truth.

** Over $6,000 has been raised towards the national goal of $10,000 needed by the end of the DNC to pay for materials nationally, and to kickstart our first round of online advertising. While the Democrats go on and on about "the promise of America," spreading the tired old lie that in this country "you can make it if you try," covering over the reality of genocidal war and brutal exploitation, will people hear the actual truth? About the need and possibility for an actual revolution to overthrow this system and bring into being a radically different and far better system? Will they hear the truth and the challenge that: 

This is not a time to be siding with one group of oppressors or another. This is a rare time—a very rare opening—a chance that may come only once in a lifetime—a chance to take advantage of the deep divisions among the ruling oppressors and go after their whole system, with the aim of bringing the whole thing down, and putting something much better in its place.

** We have begun the online fundraising! In a small experiment we ran this weekend, the ads on YouTube got 68,000 "impressions" and a total full "views" of 2,500. We also garnered several new subscribers. This was just to get our feet wet, so stay tuned for more!

** Calling all social media spreaders and contenders, join us for a nationally coordinated online effort for impact. THIS Thursday is the final night of the DNC where Kamala Harris will accept the Democrats’ nomination for capitalist killer-in-chief. Join us to inject some revolutionary truth from Bob Avakian into all the delusional hoopla.
