As someone who is concerned about the future, I am writing to ask you to support a major effort aimed at rescuing the future, for the emancipation of humanity.  The RevComs are spearheading a National Campaign to Promote Bob Avakian's Social Media Platform, @BobAvakianOfficial: real-time leadership for real revolution in this time.

Bob Avakian (BA) is the revolutionary leader who has brought forward a whole new framework for human emancipation: the new communism. He bases himself on the scientific understanding that the source of all the oppression and madness is this system of capitalism-imperialism, and that this system cannot be reformed, but must be overthrown and replaced with a system based on meeting people's needs, ending oppression and enabling people to become fit caretakers of the earth.  BA is leading people to recognize—and act on—the rare opening that has emerged to make this revolution, “right in this country, right in this intense and momentous time we are living in now.”

The fact is that no one, besides BA and the revcoms he leads, is even talking about the need for, and possibility of, real revolution. 

Most people—even those who want to see some kind of change—don't know a whole better world is possible. And the powers-that-be don't want them to know!

In this national effort, we are going to combine creative and defiant grassroots outreach—massive postering, stickers all over, dramatic banner drops... with a targeted online advertising campaign, via YouTube, Instagram, podcasts and more.  Working together, all these efforts can be amplified, reverberating throughout society, and forcing people to sit up and take notice.  

This campaign is aimed at raising people's sights to the fact that our choices are not between MAGA fascist Trump and genocide-backer Kamala Harris.  Introducing them to a whole different way society can be organized, and the revolutionary leader that has envisioned this and brought forward a strategy and method to make this real.  Projecting Bob Avakian, through his social media, onto the walls, airwaves and through social media is key to changing what people are thinking about and debating.  

But this is only possible if we raise tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars... aiming to garner tens and hundreds of thousands of followers... to reach millions.  This is where you come in.  This is going up against the status quo, the intellectual gatekeepers working to maintain this system, and up against the algorithm which just reinforces what this system wants people to think.

In his social media, BA is breaking down what no one else is: Why we need a revolution and how this time—full of craziness and extreme danger—contains the real possibility of revolution, if we rise to it. Why this system of capitalism-imperialism can't be reformed, and why siding with either oppressive force—the MAGA fascist Republicans or the genocide-funding war criminal Democrats—will condemn humanity to a nightmare.  But how, in this situation, we can seize on the deepening divisions between these rulers -- divisions that cannot be stitched back together—to go after their whole system, and put something much better in its place.

Unlike all the lowered sights, BA brings alive the whole new way we could be living: Why there's no such thing as “human nature,” and how people—and how they relate to each other—can change radically. Why people can't make fundamental change acting on their own, but how they can acting together as a serious and disciplined force in their thousands NOW, working to reach and lead millions to make revolution—not for revenge, but for the emancipation of all humanity. 

And BA breaks down a scientific method for understanding this complex reality—cutting through all the bullshit and confusion—to see beneath the surface of what is happening, and what needs to be done.

This is what people need to know about—to engage, debate and discuss—NOW.  

Right now, a lot of people are chasing delusions. But in a situation as crazy-and-getting-crazier and more disruptive to normal life, delusions can and will be shattered. In this kind of situation, people can change overnight, and revolutionary forces can grow very big very fast—if there is a hard core of thousands who knows where to take things... how to reach people… and what to reach them with. It will make all the difference if millions have encountered, and thousands have engaged @BobAvakianOfficial. The thousands that seriously take up the leadership that Avakian is providing can be forged into the core that could lead the aroused millions.

And then, as things break out, anything can happen—if there is a hard core of thousands around this leadership, this way of understanding, and this strategy… able to lead millions when millions are looking for leadership.

The time is short, and the odds are long. But there is a chance, a real chance, for revolution to bring this system down and bring a whole new society into being. BA's voice and leadership is decisive to this now.  Will you make a donation to breaking through with this voice?
