On the night of November 5, several Israeli military vehicles staged an incursion into the Palestinian village of Al-Yamoun, northwest of Jenin in the Palestinian West Bank. They roamed through neighborhoods, conducted patrols, and fired live ammunition at any Palestinian youths who confronted them. 

By 10:45 at night, Murad Fawzi Yousef Abu Seifen, a 15-year-old boy at the beginning of his life, lay on the ground bleeding to death. They claim Murad was one of a group of youth throwing stones and Molotov cocktails toward their heavily armored vehicles. Murad was shot from some 200 to 260 feet away, further than any youth could sling a rock or molotov cocktail. 

According to Defense for Children International—Palestine (DCIP), the Israeli forces came up to Murad’s body and threw a blanket over him, preventing people from seeing him. A Palestinian ambulance tried to reach him, but the Israeli soldiers blocked it for a half an hour. In short, they very likely let Murad bleed to death. The soldiers then confiscated his body, putting it in a military vehicle and driving away.

Murad was the 44th Palestinian child murdered in the West Bank by the Israelis this year alone. "[O]ne in every five Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank in 2025 has been a child," the UN says.

“Israeli forces destroyed evidence of their attack on Murad and transported his body to an unknown location, withholding it from his family,” a spokesperson for DCIP said.¹ “Even in death, Palestinian children are not safe from Israeli soldiers.” 

From “Death by a Thousand Cuts” to Open Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide

The West Bank is the area of historic Palestine west of the Jordan River (on the east side of what is now Israel). It is home to nearly three million Palestinians and has been mandated by the United Nations to be part of a future Palestinian state. It has been under military occupation since it was seized by Israel through war in 1967.

For decades the West Bank has been the site of rising Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people—murders, beatings, terror, imprisonment, home demolitions, the building of illegal Israeli settlements and the destruction of Palestinian farms, crops, and the animals of families who’ve worked the land for decades, in some cases centuries.

Under previous U.S. administrations, Palestinians in the West Bank were subjected to the slower "death by a thousand cuts" method of this Israeli aggression. But now, with Christian fascist Mike Huckabee, who recognizes Israeli "sovereignty" in all of historic Palestine, as the new U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Palestinians are facing open and high-speed ethnic cleansing. 

While Trump has said he will not allow Israel to openly and fully seize the West Bank and make it part of Israel, he has continued to back Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aka Netan-nazi in ongoing war crimes against the Palestinian people. And with Trump's backing, the forces around the Israeli Prime Minister are aiming to get as far as they possibly can in their genocidal campaign against Palestinians. 

The Highest Death Count in Over 20 Years

This time of year is when farmers harvest their olives, a long practice which has great economic, social and cultural significance for the Palestinian people. It has also been a time when Israeli settlers and the Israeli military have carried out a record number of attacks on Palestinians.  

Israelis have attacked Palestinian villages, injured olive harvesters, and stolen or destroyed olive harvests. On November 6, two Palestinians were killed near the village of al-Judeira. Fifteen others were injured by the Israeli military in the village of Beit Lid for protesting Israel’s land theft.

“Israeli forces demolished two Palestinian agricultural sites in the occupied West Bank, destroying a poultry farm and killing thousands of chickens, according to the Wafa news agency,” Drop Site News reported on November 5. “In the village of Umm al-Rihan, west of Jenin, Israeli soldiers stormed a poultry farm and electrocuted 7,000 hens. In Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem, soldiers demolished an agricultural room belonging to a local farmer, claiming it lacked a building permit.”

The attacks are coming near daily. In fact, the United Nations is reporting that Israeli settlers carried out over 264 attacks on West Bank Palestinians in October alone—an average of eight attacks a day and the highest monthly total since 2006 when the UN began keeping track. Since then, the UN has documented over 9,600 settler attacks on Palestinians. Some 1,500 of these attacks have taken place this year alone. 

These genocidal atrocities must be denounced, opposed, and stopped!
