1. The revolutionary leader Bob Avakian nails the unprecedented situation we are facing in his New Year's message when he says: “Trump 2025 is not just another administration coming into office. This is fascism!”

This is fascism—a fascism fueled by anti-scientific and Christian fundamentalist lunacy. This is fascism moving to forcibly impose its racist, immigrant-persecuting, anti-woman and LGBT-hating MAGA madness. This is fascism determined to unleash capitalist plunder and naked imperialist expansionism, prepared to violently crush any opposition or resistance.

This is fascism moving very quickly to smash and dismantle how the system of capitalism has ruled for generations with a camouflage of democracy. This is fascism moving rapidly to consolidate and rule this system with undisguised—open—naked dictatorship. 

And it's happening in the most powerful imperialist country in the world—threatening all of humanity and even the existence of any future at all.

This is why we say—not in the name of Americans but in the Name of Humanity, We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America.

2. It is righteous and necessary to fight the different attacks—as people have done the last week—walking out of schools and protesting the deportation of immigrants, rallying to the defense of trans people and coming out to protest the executive orders. But these alone are not enough. And we don't have much time.

As the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian has laid out, We need a movement with a mission to DEFEAT the whole fascist program! How? By mobilizing the tens of millions of decent people in this country, uniting all who can be united to stand up and create such a political crisis that Trump cannot govern the country and prevents him from implementing his fascist program.

A massive movement that is sustained—which we have seen in the recent history of this country—like 2020 where people come out into the streets and keep coming out—changing minds and people—impacting every institution and all of society.
