On June 14, 2025 – Trump’s birthday celebrated with a fascist military parade – over 5 million people took to the streets across the country for No Kings Day to protest the cruelty and power grabs of the Trump fascist regime. In Washington DC, Refuse Fascism led 2000 people to march to the White House in defiance of Trump’s threats against protesters. On this day, it was the people in our millions who had the initiative, not the fascist regime with its pathetic military parade.

But one day of protest – as righteous as it was – was not enough to stop a fascist regime from steamrolling humanity. The Trump fascist regime went on an accelerated war path – massively funding Trump’s ICE Gestapo to ramp up the ethnic cleansing of Latino immigrants, occupying Los Angeles and DC with federal troops, threatening Democratic politicians, gutting due process, blackmailing institutions, cutting essential programs and scientific research, and becoming even more open with their genocidal white supremacy and Christian theocratic fascism. And now, their threats and rhetoric against the “left” and their repression of dissenting voices have crossed into new levels of danger. Meanwhile, the millions who came out on June 14 did not come back into the streets in large numbers to build momentum toward growing, unrelenting nonviolent protest that could actually stop the regime from carrying out its program, governing the country, or holding onto power. 

Millions of decent people who care about diversity, justice, equality, the first amendment, public health, scientific reason, and the very future of humanity cannot sit aside now and expect to hold onto their humanity. We need to flood the streets in nonviolent protest – on October 18 across the country – and beginning November 5 in DC.

This next No Kings Day should be even larger than the first. Build and fight for the millions to take to the streets on that day to say No Kings and Trump Must Go Now!

On October 18, we must orient millions toward the only hope humanity has to stop this regime from destroying the future – everyone uniting into the largest nonviolent mobilization to DC in US history starting November 5 – not stopping until the regime is removed from power.

Fascism is not a looming threat. It is upon us now.

Humanity’s only hope is for the decent people of this country to rise in our millions. We cannot wait for future and rigged elections. We must drive the Trump Fascist Regime from power.

October 18, fill the streets – and get people on the buses, trains, planes, car caravans – onward to DC to begin the fall of the Trump Fascist Regime!
