The Attack by U.S. and Israeli Imperialism Began Today, February 28

Revcom.us editors’ note: The following from the Communist Party of Iran, Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, was posted on Instagram in Farsi. It represents the views of the CPI (MLM). The U.S. and Israel will not bring freedom and democracy—freedom from oppression and exploitation, from poverty and unemployment, from the oppression of women, from national oppression and environmental destruction—not for the people of Iran, nor for the people of the region, nor for the people of the world. These bombs and missiles are killing people and spreading war across the region. The Islamic Republic [of Iran] has fired missiles at some countries. All this is creating an explosive situation in Iran and the region. If this continues there is a risk of further expansion worldwide, and even the use of nuclear weapons by various imperialist countries.

The emancipation of the oppressed people in Iran, the region and the world can only be achieved with a real communist revolution. Let us launch a nationwide struggle [in Iran] against this war, against other wars in the region, and around the world for the emancipation of humanity. Let us make a revolution to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran and against the global capitalist system that the Islamic Republic is a dependent part of.

Our Party follows the new communism developed by revolutionary leader Bob Avakian. Bob Avakian has written The New Communism and Breakthroughs and many other books on the new synthesis of communism, a further development of communism. He has analyzed and synthesized various issues to develop the science of communism, and developed a new synthesis that breaks with some of its non-scientific aspects. Our website applies the scientific approach BA has developed to analyze major events in society and the world—why they are happening, how they relate to each other, how all this relates to the system we live under, where people's interests lie, how revolution is in fact the solution to all this, and what the goals of that revolution are.

Revcom.us acts as a guiding and connecting hub for the revcom movement nationwide: showing what’s being done, digging into what’s right and what’s wrong, and rapidly learning—and recruiting new people into what has to be a rapidly growing force. As part of this, revcom.us feature and promotes the weekly The RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less!—Show on YouTube.com. 

Put it this way: there will be no revolution unless this website not only “keeps going” but rises to a whole different level!
