Be Part of Spreading and Debating the TRUTH

Beginning this weekend, the eyes of the world will be on the upcoming climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland. That is where official government representatives—and oppressive rulers—of this system will be meeting to debate and discuss agreeing to global and national limits to the use of fossil fuels…fuels which are causing the disaster of climate change. The debate at, and surrounding, this summit will pose burning questions about the nature of the system that has caused such drastic havoc to our planet.

But the biggest question of all is this: WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

Answer: REVOLUTION!!!

Everyone who sees the need for the solution of revolution to be way out there into the public eye should be on a mission THIS WEEK to be out in society in a major way to reach everyone who cares about the web of human life so they can learn about, and get with, this revolution. We need to reach people with word that there is a force now actively organizing for this revolution. A force waging battle with all the illusions and phony solutions that will keep us hurtling to disaster. A force with real answers to this—in the form of the Constitution For the New Socialist Republic In North America,  authored by Bob Avakian. A force with a real strategy to actually bring forward millions to make this revolution.

We need to urgently spread this revolution wherever people are raising their voices and putting their bodies on the line in protest and throughout all of society – on trains and at college campuses, at concerts and at high schools, at farmers markets and busy downtown areas.

Starting now, and going into this weekend when there are gatherings or demonstrations planned, and over this next week, get with the Revolution Club to make creative plans to spread the revcom statement “As the World Burns and Its Rulers Fiddle in Glasgow…A CALL TO THOSE WHO WANT A RADICALLY DIFFERENT FUTURE FOR HUMANITY” (available as a leaflet here) as well as A Declaration, A Call To Get Organized Now For a Real Revolution from the revcoms. Engage in broad debate, discussion and lively struggle about what is the problem and the real solution. Wield and spread the leadership provided by BA in recent articles, including “Why The World Is So Messed Up, And What Can Be Done to Radically Change This—A Basic Scientific Understanding.” If there is no club in your area, take these materials out wherever you can and write us with your experience.

Now especially is a time to make a BIG LEAP with the viewership of The RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less!—Show which is unparalleled in its consistent scientific analysis of the problem, pointing people to the real solution and giving living revolutionary guidance on how to act today to ripen the situation to be able to make revolution. Practice agitation that brings this situation alive, maybe creative street theater and finding ways to make use of the special segment from The RNL Show on the IPCC climate change report (New UN IPCC Report on Climate Change: A More Accurate & Alarming Picture of Peril Facing Our Planet), including to get broad engagement with students on campuses.

And as “the normal way” society has been ruled is failing to hold things together—and society is increasingly being ripped apart—this can shake people’s belief that “the way things have always been” is the only way things can be. It can make people more open to questioning—in a real sense it can force people to question—the way things have been, and whether they have to stay that way. And this is all the more likely to happen if the revolutionary forces are out among the people shining a light on the deeper reality of what is happening, and why, and bringing out that there IS an alternative to living this way.
