To those who feel helpless and heartsick, but refuse to turn away from image after image: countless babies with blown-up limbs... wailing mothers cradling death shrouds... fathers desperately digging through the rubble... 

To those who know this hell is bought and supported by the American empire... Those who have marched and screamed and posted, even in the face of repression and brutality...

Now is the time for even more courage and defiance, for more determination to demand an END to the siege on Gaza and an end to the U.S./Israeli genocide. AND now is the time to bring this struggle into the fight to drive the Trump fascist regime from power.

That means mass protest when Netan-Nazi speaks at the UN in New York on September 26. It means mass protest when Netan-Nazi visits the White House on September 29. It means defending all the anti-genocide voices on college campuses and demanding no capitulation to and cooperation with fascist attacks on the universities. It means bringing this message into, and uniting with, the No Kings Day protests on October 18.

And urgently, it means taking up the call from RefuseFascism.org, and open to all, to flood DC in nonviolent protest, beginning November 5, the one-year anniversary of Trump’s election—not stopping until Trump is removed.   

As their call states:

Fascism is not a looming threat. It is upon us now. 

Humanity’s only hope is for the decent people of this country to rise in our millions. We cannot wait for future and rigged elections. We must drive the Trump Fascist Regime from power. 

Beginning November 5, the one-year anniversary of Trump’s election, flood DC in nonviolent protest. Surround the White House. Surround the Capitol. Surround the illegitimate fascist-packed Supreme Court. Come back again and again. Every person of conscience, millions of us together, grind the machinery of the fascist regime to a halt.

The fight to stop this genocide has to grow AND it has to go through the fight to defeat Trump MAGA fascism.

Many will ask, why focus on Trump? Aren't the Democrats just as bad? 

They're both bad, but they're not all the same. Genocide Joe is an imperialist war criminal, but Trump is a fascist!

Fascism is the open, undisguised dictatorship of the system of capitalism-imperialism—rule through open violence and terror, the complete evisceration of the rule of law, completely crushing dissent and the right to protest. And things are moving very quickly to the all-out consolidation of fascism.

The genocide of the Palestinian people has been, and still is, supported by all the major leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties. On top of decades of unyielding U.S. support for the apartheid state of Israel. This is not because of the “pro-Israel lobby” but because Israel plays a “special role” for U.S. imperialism—as a nuclear-armed bastion of support in the strategically important region of the Middle East. And Israel has been deployed by the U.S. to assist in carrying out atrocities—from Guatemala to South Africa—which have helped to maintain the U.S. in its top oppressive position in the world. And the fundamental answer to this is an emancipating revolution to bring a different, far better system into being.

Right now, this is Trump’s genocide. He is all in, full-speed ahead!

In December, the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian called Trump and Netanyahu—Nazi Madmen on a Mission of Destruction. He warned, “Trump/MAGA fascism prepares for further extremes in supporting Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people.”

This is true on a number of extremely dangerous counts:

At the heart of the Trump regime are Christian fascist lunatics who think that the “second coming” of Jesus can happen only when Israel incorporates and directly rules all the territory of Palestine as a Jewish state. One of these fanatics, Mike Huckabee, is now the U.S. ambassador to Israel. He has said there is “no such thing as a Palestinian,” and that Palestinians were made up as “a political tool to try and force land away from Israel.”

Since then, Trump removed Genocide Joe’s meek rules preventing the U.S. from sending Israel 2,000-pound bombs clearly aimed for mass civilian devastation. Trump removed economic sanctions against Israeli settlers who terrorize and kill Palestinians in the West Bank. These changes give full, OPEN license to violate international law, and carry out the full ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinian people.

Trump floated out the sick idea of turning part of the historic homeland of the Palestinian people into a “Gaza Riviera” resort. Among Israeli fascists, this has become known as the “Trump plan.” Just last week, Israel’s fanatic Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared “the Gaza Strip is becoming a real estate bonanza,” and the plan is “on President Trump’s desk.” 

Trump has intensified the vicious repression against anyone who speaks out against the genocide—targeting student leaders like Mahmoud Khalil, professors, or international students who dare to speak out. His regime is using the lie that standing against the criminal state of Israel (anti-Zionism) is the same as being against all Jewish people (anti-Semitism) to entirely crush academia and academic freedom.

Finally, listen to the telling words of Netanyahu in his press conference last week with Secretary of State Marco Rubio: “The American-Israeli alliance has never been as strong as it is now, and the President has been an outstanding global leader. He’s really transforming the world to better all of us, and I can again repeat what I have said time and time again: He's the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House.”

To understand what Netan-Nazi means when he says Trump is “transforming the world to better all of us,” we want to quote from Bob Avakian in describing Trump/MAGA fascism's program for the world:

Fascism is a qualitatively different way that this system enforces its rule over people.

Trump fascism is a regime that openly and aggressively strips away basic rights and blatantly declares that there is no rule of law and due process of law other than what it dictates, and that raw destructive power is what must rule in the international arena, without even the pretense of adherence to international law or concern about the sovereignty, or even the right to exist, of less powerful peoples and countries.

These are the stakes: If you want to have the ongoing ability to fight for the liberation of the Palestinian people and the people of the world... if you want to fight for a radically better world without imperialist devastation and wars for empire, you need to double down in resistance to stop this genocide AND join now in the historic mission to drive the Trump fascist regime from power.

While we are uniting all who can be united to defeat this fascism, overcoming divide-and-conquer, keep digging deeper into the system of capitalism-imperialism that has given rise to this fascism and the genocide in Gaza and so many other atrocities. And we invite you to dig into how it's possible to build a whole new way to live and a fundamentally different system envisioned in the new communism developed by Bob Avakian—a world without oppression and exploitation for people here and all over the world.

In a recent social media message, Bob Avakian starkly lays out the stakes of the fight ahead. From his social media message REVOLUTION #133, “Yes, this Trump/MAGA fascism really is that bad. And, if it is not driven from power soon, it will get far worse”:

If this fascist regime is allowed to remain in power, everything that decent people have felt they could rely on to seek justice will be brutally shut down...every uplifting moral value will be reviled and repressed...every sphere of society will be remade, in terrible ways, in line with the male supremacist, anti-LGBT, white supremacist and anti-immigrant cruelty and the anti-scientific, health and climate destroying madness of the Trump fascist regime and the bloodthirsty ravings and depraved violence of fanatics heading “the department of war,” with the deranged maniac Trump having his finger on the nuclear button.

Every vision, and every active striving, for a better, more just world, for a future worth living in, will be violently suppressed and effectively foreclosed, at least for the foreseeable future.

This is not hyperbole—it is the bitter reality that is being rapidly enforced.

But here is another profound reality: The massive mobilization called for by Refuse Fascism, and open to all, represents the real possibility—the ONLY real possibility—of actually driving out this fascist regime, and putting an end to the endless horrors it is determined to perpetrate.

There is no time for hopelessness or despair. Giving up means handing the future and the whole world over to these bloodthirsty fascists. Raise your sights! Let your anger and determination fuel you—to end this horrific genocide, and do a great service to people here, and all over the world, by ousting this fascist regime.
