A successful fund-raising Bake Sale was held by THE REVCOM CORPS For The Emancipation Of Humanity in New York City. We raised more than $1,194 to promote and spread @BobAvakianOfficial Social Media Everywhere. The effort featured "Lovette's Southern Styled Sweet Potato Pies" and other baked goods that were donated by people who have been working with the Revolution for a long time and others who are only beginning to learn about the leadership of Bob Avakian through these social media messages.
The bake sale was held at Revolution Books in Harlem at the same time as the Revolution Books Soup sale, to raise money for Revolution Books. It was a lively and energetic day with several viewings of Bob Avakian's social media messages Revolution #104 and Revolution #103 along with viewings of the previous RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less!—Show that featured BA responding to a question about what would happen in the days, weeks and months following the revolution in this country. Some comrades sold pies to a bunch of people in their apartment building while engaging them in the social media messages. Throughout the day, people were dropping by to both deliver and purchase baked goods and hang around and take part in the lively political struggle and debate.
