This week we call on all revcoms, on everyone who supports the revcoms, and on all of you who hunger for a different world and have come to this site seeking one… to do two big things:
One, make a major effort to get out the Proclamation WE ARE THE REVCOMS. If you’ve been doing this, sum up with others your efforts so far, develop thinking and plans to make those efforts count for more, find the ways to bring forward people you’ve been meeting to be part of this whole process, and make another major push. And if you haven’t been doing this, let’s get busy!!

This is a time of sharp changes. Radical change is coming, one way or the other. That change will either be a reactionary, violent change coming on top of the horror that already exists… or a revolutionary, emancipating change. This Proclamation puts before the world our scientific understanding of the need for revolution and possibility—IN THIS TIME—to make revolution.
Two, take out the call for the June 4 Fundraising Livestream when you are distributing WE ARE THE REVCOMS and circulate that call far and wide. Begin yourselves to raise the urgently needed money to make the vision in WE ARE THE REVCOMS a material force in society.
The movement for revolution needs money to not only get out thousands and thousands of these Proclamations to people, but to carry out the many-pronged strategy laid out in that Proclamation.

IMPORTANT: Making revolution requires struggling with people to concretely support that revolution, every step along the way, whether they have known about the revolution for a while or are just getting introduced to it. When you struggle with people not just over ideas, but over what they are going to do—including where they are going to put their resources—you give them a way to change the world and to change themselves too.
Making revolution also requires working with people, bringing them in on the problems we are trying to solve and why, and unleashing their creativity to more deeply understand and help solve problems, in a process together with others. We have many examples over the past year and more of people who have done what may seem to be small things—making and selling crafts, bake sales, yard sales, going to friends and family and so on—but if multiplied could be very significant. These “building block” activities enable people to contribute their talents and in the process to create revolutionary networks of organization, community and solidarity. Let us know what you are doing or have done, so others can learn.
At this Sunday’s livestream, we’ll be talking with Sunsara Taylor about her speech at UCLA on “‘Woke’ Lunacy Vs. Real Revolution” and the initiative this is part of. We’ll go back and forth with Michelle Xai of the Los Angeles Revolution Club on what’s coming up this summer. And we’ll get into the three-part interview with Bob Avakian, Up Close and Personal with Bob Avakian: Heart and Soul & Hard-Core for Revolution, with Annie Day, and some new plans to widely promote it.
So get the word out on this livestream fundraiser. Bring people together for festive group watches. Build this as a big aid in raising funds.
Very importantly: send experiences you have this week in getting out the Proclamation and in raising funds to getorganizedforrevolutiontour@gmail.com or DM us @therevcoms by this Saturday at noon.
One final note: As part of this, and leading into the fundraising livestream, we should spread the powerful and provocative speech from Sunsara Taylor, “‘Woke’ Lunacy Vs. Real Revolution,” and raise funds from people in every corner of society who want to see this woke madness taken on.
