After sending the NYPD onto the campuses at Columbia University and the City College of New York in full stormtrooper mode, Eric Adams said, as a proud American, he was “disgusted” by the way protesters disrespected the U.S. flag. And he declared: “We’re not going to surrender our way of life to anyone.”

The students who stood up on their campuses and said no to the mass murder, destruction of hospitals and schools and enforced starvation in Gaza are right. Standing up against the U.S.-Israeli genocide is not Anti-Semitic. And it is inspiring to see them continuing to protest in the face of arrests, suspensions, and lies about being manipulated by “outside agitators.”

Mayor Adams, YOU are disgusting, and you should get ready to be disgusted again.

This American way of life you are so proud of was founded on slavery and genocide and is today a global empire based on wars and plunder. The war your uncle died fighting was a genocidal war fought to drown the liberation struggle of the Vietnamese people in blood. And today America is financing, arming and giving diplomatic cover for the genocidal war Israel is carrying out in Gaza. This is disgusting.

At noon on Monday, May 13 at the City Hall/Brooklyn Bridge area at Centre Street/Park Row, Carl Dix and the RevCom Corps for the Emancipation of Humanity will lay bare the truly depraved way of life Eric "Black Giuliani” Adams finds so precious and why it's long past time for this way of life to be gotten rid of thru revolution and how the chance of a lifetime to overthrow this rotten system needs to be grabbed hold of by all of us who refuse to accept this terrible future it has in store for humanity.

We will address why Adams and the others responsible for the brutal crackdown on the students protesting the U.S.-Israeli genocide in Gaza are wrong and how this crackdown exposes the vulnerability of this system. It is disgusting you all have revived the ghosts of 1960s segregationist sheriffs like Alabama’s Bull Connor to try to justify your criminal actions.

And we will demonstrate for Eric Adams the proper way to treat the American flag.
