On this page are brief reports, with pictures and videos, from revcoms in different areas of the country from the past week—going out into the world to call on all decent people to mobilize in determined struggle to defeat Trump/MAGA fascism, and spreading the understanding that this whole system is rotten and illegitimate and we need a whole new way to live, a fundamentally different system. Key in this is getting Bob Avakian’s social media message Revolution #111—“We revcoms are serious—and all decent people need to be serious—about actually defeating this Trump/MAGA fascism”—into all corners of society. We encourage all reading this to continue to reach out to the people ever more broadly, in bold and creative ways… and, very importantly, send us reports, pics, and vids! Chicago
MONDAY EMERGENCY ACTION:
The Revcom Corps Chicago held an emergency meeting on Saturday December 14th where we played, discussed and made plans to implement Bob Avakian’s message REVOLUTION #111: We revcoms are serious—and all decent people need to be serious—about actually defeating this Trump/MAGA fascism. Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan had just come to the city where he announced Trump’s vicious plan to start his massive deportation round-up of immigrants right here in Chicago on January 21st, the day after the inauguration. After grappling with REVOLUTION #111, we decided we had to do something to take this on. We discovered there was a City Council meeting the following Monday and quickly put together an emergency action under the slogans:
IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA!
NO ROUNDUPS & NO MORE HATRED.
FUCK YOUR WALLS & FUCK YOUR BORDERS.
GOD-DAMN YOU, TOM "PUT KIDS IN CAGES" HOMAN!
IMMIGRANTS ARE HUMAN BEINGS
THIS WHOLE SYSTEM IS ROTTEN AND ILLEGIMATE: WE NEED AND WE DEMAND A WHOLE NEW WAY TO LIVE, A FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT SYSTEM.
Los Angeles
This past Tuesday, we went xmas caroling in holiday shopping areas! Watch this video footage from the RNL Show.
Wednesday, the Revcom Corps joined the National Day Laborer Organizing Network and many other groups in a rally and march for International Migrants Day (Día Internacional del Inmigrante). Almost everyone spoke about the need for collective struggle against the attacks coming down on immigrants, and for calling forward others to overcome their fear, and to unite broadly in struggle. Protest leaders raised the defiant chant, “¡aquí estamos, y no nos vamos!” (we are here, and we are not leaving!). Michelle Xai spoke about the danger of Trump/MAGA fascism, the importance of uniting in struggle to defeat this fascism, and invited people to talk with us more about Bob Avakian’s analysis of the system at the root of this fascism and a whole new system that we need. Her speech was well received. Afterward there was a march to an immigration detention center, and a concert featuring a pro-immigrant band, Los Jornaleros Del Norte.

Friday we went to the Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet to do a second-hand sale fundraiser for the campaign to get @BobAvakianOfficial everywhere. This swap meet is a huge gathering place for Latinos in south east LA, often featuring Mexican regional music. All the books, clothes, appliances and other things we had for sale were donated by people wanting to support this campaign.
Also very importantly, this past week we began two different zoom discussion groups digging into Bob Avakian’s work, one for newer people doing an “intro to the revolution” course, and one for people who’ve been around a bit longer to get deeper into the New Communism developed by BA.
More soon!
Texas
On Saturday, December 14, some members and supporters of the Revcom Corps for the Emancipation of Humanity – Texas staged a short, effective action at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The goal was to declare, in a compressed way, the need and a strategy for revolution as concentrated in the Six Points from THE REVCOM CORPS For The Emancipation Of Humanity: How We Are Preparing the People and Organizing Now For A REAL REVOLUTION FOR THE EMANCIPATION OF HUMANITY to people inside the museum and to many more on social media. This was inspired by various protests in museums by climate and pro-Palestine activists—but ours was putting forward an actual answer to these horrors and a real way to win—especially as we are weeks away from a fascist regime taking power. This was one way of popularizing the strategy as a way of carrying out the strategy. We conducted ourselves as a disciplined, serious force and handed out some copies of We Need and We Demand pamphlets as we left.
Later that evening, we took our message to a holiday concert for world peace. We put on some holiday hats that said Revolution and made a walking holiday card that said “We need and we demand…a whole new way to live…a fundamentally different system” (with glitter!). We also had a special poem written just for this occasion. We turned a lot of heads as we marched onto the scene, and then, when one of our members seized a moment to deliver the poem, we were so busy handing out pamphlets that we weren’t able to film it right then. People were really listening, nodding their heads and eager to take our Declarations. Unfortunately, we got kicked out right after that, but continued to hand out pamphlets to people in the area. Later we filmed a second performance of the poem.
On Sunday, five of us went to a Pulga, a flea market in a mainly Guatemalan section of Houston. In just over two hours we got out over 300 leaflets and pamphlets. We had a table set up while a mobile crew went around to the different stalls and had conversations with people about BA’s message #107, which we had printed out in Spanish; the MAGA fascist attacks on immigrants, and the fact that we don’t have to live this way. We chanted and carried a sign with our slogans in Spanish: In the name of humanity, we refuse to accept a fascist America. The whole system is rotten and illegitimate. We Need and We Demand a Whole New Way to Live, a fundamentally different system.

Caroling at the Telegraph Avenue Holiday Street Fair
Revolutionary carolers greeted the people who came to the annual Berkeley Telegraph Ave. street fair, with sharp satire of the usual Christmas carols:
(to the tune of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town)
You better wake up
It’s time to defy!
You better rise up!
I’m telling you why
Fascism is coming to town.
They have a big long hit list
They want to see you shake
But we won’t hide in closets
Their state is what must quake!
The Revolution Books booth at the festival featured the key books of BA’s new communism and books on fascism, Palestine, exposure on why America was never great, poetry, novels, and much more, and called for people to contribute to the campaign to raise $50,000 to get @BobAvakianOfficial Everywhere.
Cleveland
Revcoms went out to a busy traffic circle in Cleveland with signs with the title of BA’s special holiday message Revolution #107: “God-Damn the Trump/MAGA Fascists, Every One! And God-Damn Everyone Who Tells Us to “Get Along” And “Play Nice” With These Fascists!”, and calling on people to donate to the campaign to get @BobAvakianOfficial everywhere. People pulled over to contribute when they saw the signs. It was bitter cold and snowing but in less than an hour the team raised three $5 contributions and a total of $30.90 to spread @BobAvakianOfficial everywhere. Several more people promised to contribute on line.
