To those who are watching the carnage in the Israeli assault on Gaza but think you don't know enough, that the situation is too complicated, or you're too scared to stick your neck out and take a stand, the revcoms have a few questions.
Are you okay with a war being waged on children?
As of this writing, over 6,100 Palestinian children have been blown to bits, dismembered, and burned alive. Their schools, refugee camps, homes and mosques, turned into ash and rubble. At least 9,000 children have been wounded, hobbled, and handicapped. Young people with dreams and curiosity and wonder whose lives were ended or devastated even before they began by the terror and brutality of Israel, with America's full military, financial and political support.
Are you okay with hospitals being targeted?
36 hospitals and medical centers have been targeted by Israel's bombings and attacks. Hospitals are keeping patients on the floor since they've run out of beds. They are out of many medications. They are having to use vinegar to sterilize equipment. They are having to do amputations on children without anesthesia! Premature babies are dying because Israel is shutting off power to their incubators!
Are you okay with over 2 million people being starved?
Since October 7, Israel has enforced a near total blockade on the 2.3 million people living in Gaza. There is hardly any fuel remaining in Gaza, forcing people to burn doors, window frames, cardboard and grass to cook. The mineral water trucked into Gaza meets only four percent of the need. People are being forced to drink contaminated water. Flour, cheese, eggs, dairy products, and mineral water have disappeared from stores. People are going hungry and barely surviving on just a cup or two of water a day.

A final question: Are you okay with YOUR government providing the arms, funding and political support for a genocide?
Israel is waging a genocidal war on the entire Palestinian people—not a precision-guided war targeting an opposing political organization. And this genocide is being armed, supported and funded by the U.S.
Why?
The revolutionary leader Bob Avakian put it this way:
Why is Biden, and basically the entire government and ruling class of the U.S., supporting Israel in carrying out genocide against the Palestinian people, before the whole world? This is not because of “the power of the Jewish lobby”—or because of some ignorant, ridiculous and outrageous notion that “Jews are controlling everything.” It is because Israel plays a “special role” as a heavily armed bastion of support for U.S. imperialism in a strategically important part of the world (the “Middle East”). And Israel has been a key force in the commission of atrocities which have helped to maintain the oppressive rule of U.S. imperialism in many other parts of the world.
So once again, are you okay with all this?! Because if you are not speaking up… if you are not doing everything you can to raise your voice to demand that this be stopped… and if you are not urgently looking into why this is happening, and what must be done about this—then you are giving it your approval.
