In this campaign, we are aiming to combine our efforts between what people take up and spread on-the-ground and advertising/media reach—a "synergy" of impact. This will be a battle—political, ideological, up against what this system wants people to think—and what internet algorithms reinforce.
We need to raise tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars... to garner tens and hundreds of thousands of followers... to reach millions.
There will be a national grassroots effort combined with a national team focused on advertising strategy, developing materials as well as outreach to people with significant "platforms." And all of this needs to involve growing numbers of people learning about and being inspired and challenged by Bob Avakian, the new communism and the strategy for revolution.

Turn Heads During the Democratic National Convention (DNC) August 19-22
On the ground in Chicago, online and across the country: expose the BEB (Bourgeois Electoral Bullshit) with posters, stickers, and social media ads that tell the truth about the nature of this system, and what is coming to a head. Millions of people will hear about, and be tuned into, the DNC. There is an urgent need, and real opportunity to project that there IS AN alternative to the MAGA fascist Trump and the genocide-backing Democrats: Bob Avakian, and the revcoms he leads.
We are aiming to raise $10,000 by the end of the DNC—for national materials, and online advertising. DONATE at revcom.us
Reverberating with on-the-ground actions, we will be launching our online advertising campaign—experimenting, and learning! In that week, $3-5,000 will get social media ads in front of 275,000–500,000 people, aiming to drive people to follow, engage and spread his social media dispatches. We want to start on Instagram, YouTube and podcast ads.

First major advertising effort will be during the DNC over 4 days, focus on Instagram, YouTube and key podcasts

** Street teams: agitation, flyering, recruiting
** Mass distribution of materials: postering, wheat pasting, stickers everywhere
** Getting statements: video/written responses to @BobAvakianOfficial (on their social media, or anonymous)
** Social Media Organizing: commenting, DM-ing, working to reach influencers to repost and share (if you want to do work with others on this nationally, reach out to the national team)
Bold Actions
** Banner drops: on freeway and stadiums, tall buildings, or at events.
** PR stunts: billboard takeovers, sound actions, other bold ideas?
** Light projections: outside concerts, art walks, buildings near the freeway...
