For the last two years, Israel—with the U.S.’s full backing and support—has carried out a genocidal slaughter on the 2.2 million Palestinian people in Gaza. Almost 70,000 people have been murdered, including at least 20,000 children. Thousands more remain uncounted under the rubble created by nonstop bombs and missiles. The entire infrastructure of Gaza has been destroyed—apartment complexes, schools, hospitals, farms, bakeries, water desalination and sewage systems... nothing left untouched by the relentless bombing campaign that turned Gaza into a desolate moonscape of devastation and ash.
This fall, the fascist Trump regime decided that in order to further its own predatory imperialist agenda, Israel’s bloody assault on Gaza had to be wound down, at least for the moment. On October 10, the U.S., Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire. The future of Trump’s plan remains uncertain, but Israel’s atrocities against the people of Gaza have not stopped.
But because everyone has been told a ceasefire is in place, and because Israel waged a systematic campaign to kill Palestinian journalists, and still won't allow foreign journalists into Gaza, the news of this horror is going largely underreported or not reported at all.

* Israel continues to bomb and kill: Israel continues to rampantly violate the U.S. brokered “ceasefire,” bombing and killing Palestinians nearly every day. Over the past week Israel bombed or shelled Deir al-Balah, the Nuseirat refugee camp, Gaza City in the north, and Khan Younis in central Gaza. These attacks bring the number of Palestinians killed to over 241 and another 609 injured since October 10, when the U.S.-brokered ceasefire went into effect.
* Israel has turned Gaza into the world’s largest mass grave, littered with the dead, and deadly unexploded munitions. Israel’s bombs, shells, and missiles—most made in the USA—has turned Gaza into the “world’s largest mass grave,” as the National Committee for Missing Persons states. As if this weren’t horror enough, there are also at least 3,000 unexploded bombs amidst the devastation, amounting to some 71,000 tons of explosives, that recently killed five children and threaten to kill many more as recovery and rebuilding efforts begin.

* Israel is still demolishing Gaza’s homes and structures. Israel has already destroyed over 80 percent of Gaza’s housing and other structures, and it’s genocidal program of rendering Gaza uninhabitable is still in effect: The United Nations warns that Israel is still demolishing residential buildings every day in the areas where its troops are deployed, in particular, Khan Younis, Gaza City, and Rafah.
* It is also preventing tents from entering as winter looms. Meanwhile, Israel has rejected 107 requests for crucial aid such as “blankets, winter clothes, and tools and materials to maintain and operate water, sanitation and hygiene services” to be brought into Gaza, and it is also blocking tents, mobile homes, and other materials for shelters. This as winter is fast approaching and hundreds of thousands of Gazans are living in makeshift shelters or bombed out buildings. “We hate winter,” one Palestinian said. “After every downpour, the displacement camp where Hamza al-Mutawwaq is staying turns into a swamp. ‘It’s as if people are sleeping on a flowing river of rainwater,’” he said from the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
* Israel continues to blockade life-and-death aid. According to Gaza’s Media Office only 4,453 trucks of the 15,600 required under the ceasefire had entered Gaza. In other words, Israel has blocked over 70 percent of the food, medicine, shelter, and other desperately needed aid from entering Gaza. “The average number of trucks entering Gaza daily since the ceasefire began is only 171, out of the 600 trucks that are supposed to enter daily according to the humanitarian protocol,” the office reported. Israel is making a point of blockading nutritious foods, such as eggs, meat, fish, vegetables, and dairy products, while it allows in “nutritionally worthless” items such as candy bars, chips, sodas, and other such food.
* The fascist Trump regime maneuvers to impose its predatory, imperialist “peace” plan. Trump’s UN Ambassador has demanded that the United Nations Security Council formally approve the regime’s plan for Gaza, warning that if it doesn’t the ceasefire could “give way to a return to war,” the New York Times reports. This U.S.-sponsored resolution “would enshrine President Trump’s Gaza peace plan in international law with little room for negotiation.” This is ominous because Trump’s plan includes no accountability to the UN, no accountability for Israel’s depraved genocide, no governing role for Palestinians in Gaza, and no recognition of Palestinian rights. “The stakes for the Palestinians are high,” the New York Times reports. “If adopted, the draft Security Council resolution…would effectively turn Mr. Trump’s peace plan into binding international law.”
On another front, the U.S. is also moving to take control of the delivery of humanitarian aid, and relegate “Israel to a secondary role,” the Washington Post reports. This is being done in order to prevent the collapse of the ceasefire and to ensure the implementation of Trump’s Gaza plan. But the last time an American entity took responsibility for "humanitarian aid," they turned it into a Hunger Games killing field, with over 3,000 Palestinians killed in the desperate scramble for aid. The fate of Trump’s predatory, imperialist “peace plan” remains uncertain. But the genocidal monsters—in the U.S. and Israel—are still on the loose, and their plans and schemes do not offer the Palestinian people, or the peoples of the Middle East, the future they so urgently need and deserve.
The murder, oppression, and genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank and within Israel must end. The millions around the world who’ve stood up must continue to demand that this imperialist domination and oppression end, and that we fight for a whole different, and much better world!
Stop the U.S.-Israeli Genocide of the Palestinian People!
End the Siege on Gaza!
This whole system is rotten and illegitimate! We need and we demand: a whole new way to live, a fundamentally different system!
