Labor Day is a time when people will gather at the beaches, the parks, the backyards, the festivals, and all the public places where people go.

Meanwhile, the world continues to spin, with each day heightening the crisis faced by humanity.

Labor Day, more than anything, must be a time when people learn about the real road out of this madness…that we DON’T have to live this way and that there is a force with the scientific analysis, the strategy, the demands, and the leadership to take a giant step toward a whole new world: through revolution.

This Labor Day, let’s gather together everyone in and around the revcoms, let’s reach out to new people, and let’s make a big move to change things—and learn a lot in the process—by getting out thousands of copies of a brand-new and beautiful broadsheet version of WE NEED AND WE DEMAND: A WHOLE NEW WAY TO LIVE, A FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT SYSTEM, along with WE ARE THE REVCOMS (REVOLUTIONARY COMMUNISTS); WE ARE WORKING FOR A REAL REVOLUTION AND A WHOLE NEW, EMANCIPATING WAY TO LIVE and materials promoting The Bob Avakian Interviews.

We are working urgently to put revolution on the map and move towards this goal:

Everything depends on bringing forward a revolutionary people, from among the most bitterly oppressed, and all parts of society, first in the thousands and then in the millions, as a powerful revolutionary force, organized from the start and consistently with a country-wide perspective, impacting all of society and changing the terms of how masses of people see things and how every institution has to respond. Everything must be focused now on actually bringing forward and organizing this revolutionary force.

Really getting these materials everywhere, and doing it in a way that involves and brings in, on the spot, lots of people is part of getting to that goal.  How this gets done will be different in different cities.  So get together and make plans.  Set goals that are lofty and will make a difference, with real plans to reach them—including involving new people as we go.

IMPORTANT: Raising funds is part of how we’re gonna accomplish this high-impact effort AND it is part of making revolution—of bringing people forward to take responsibility for the revolution.

Important: send us your ideas now, take pictures and video when you go out, and do this as part of building a national movement.
