This Labor Day weekend, while the planet continues to warm and the crisis throughout society is sharpening, the revcoms aimed to impact people with the message of revolution — nothing less. At street festivals, universities, crowded corners and reverberating off the walls – we distributed thousands of copies of the Declaration, WE NEED AND WE DEMAND: A WHOLE NEW WAY TO LIVE, A FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT SYSTEM, and the Proclamation, WE ARE THE REVCOMS (REVOLUTIONARY COMMUNISTS); WE ARE WORKING FOR A REAL REVOLUTION AND A WHOLE NEW, EMANCIPATING WAY TO LIVE. People found out about the Interviews with the revolutionary leader, Bob Avakian.
In Austin, people summed up the importance of playing the article from Bob Avakian, State of Emergency. And in this letter from a reader in NY, they sum up important shortcomings in applying that same approach.
Right now, urgently, millions need to know about this revolution. Spreading these materials throughout society — and doing it in a way that involves people — is one essential part of making this happen. Read here about some of the initial experience in Houston of building up networks of engagement and distribution.
Donate and raise funds for this revolution — to enable this message to reach even more broadly, and as part of struggling with people to take responsibility for the revolution. Send us your ideas and questions, take pictures and video when you go out, and do this as part of building a national movement for an actual revolution.
