Tuesday, March 18. At 2:00 am this morning Gaza time, without warning, Israel unleashed a new, frenzied wave of indiscriminate bombing on people across Gaza, shattering the ceasefire with Hamas it had agreed upon and escalating its ongoing genocide in Gaza. 

Over 410 people have been slaughtered, whole families have been wiped out, hundreds of thousands have again been terrorized, in one of the biggest single-day slaughters in 17 months of relentless Israeli attacks, according to Drop Site News. Gaza’s hospitals, already shattered by Israel through their massive bombings and ground assaults since October 2023, have been overwhelmed. At least 560 men, women and children have been wounded, and Gaza’s decimated landscape is even more hellish now. Cries for help can be heard from beneath the rubble, and the casualty toll will no doubt rise. 

“The sky was filled with drones, quadcopters, helicopters, F-16 and F-35 warplanes. The firing from the tanks and vehicles didn’t stop,” said Abubaker Abed, a contributing journalist for Drop Site News who reports from Deir al-Balah, Gaza.... “Mothers’ wails and children's screams echoed painfully in my ears. They struck a house near us…. My mother couldn’t take a breath. My father searched around for me. We gathered in the middle of our home, knowing our end may be near. That’s the same feeling we have had for the 16 months of intense bombings and attacks. The nightmare has chased us again.”

The Trump/MAGA fascist regime had given Israel its full support to launch this barbaric attack, which executed Trump’s threat to resume heavy bombing of Gaza if Hamas refused to kowtow to Trump and immediately release all its Israeli hostages. Trump’s spokesperson told Fox News, “[A]ll those who seek to terrorize not just Israel but also the United States of America, will see a price to pay… All hell will break loose.”

Now, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (aka Netan-Nazi) is warning of more war crimes and crimes against humanity to come: “Israel will, from now on, act against Hamas with increasing military strength.”

The unimaginable horrors being suffered by the Palestinian people at the hands of Israel and the U.S. call for immediate protest and resistance—in the streets and throughout society!
