We are aiming to provoke serious engagement and debate, and through this, build up the forces for revolution.

In this talk, Bob Avakian (BA) says:

With all this, what is urgently needed, what is possible—and what must be actively, tirelessly worked for, in order for there to truly be a positive outcome to all this—is a fundamentally different alignment in the country as a whole: a Repolarization that is favorable for, and brings forward the necessary forces for, Revolution—a real revolution to overthrow this system, and bring into being a radically different and much better system.

Here are just beginning efforts—making this talk known as one part—of launching what's needed.

  • Beginning this week, spread the word of this talk focused on the anniversary of January 6, with THIS TikTok promoting it. Stay tuned @therevcoms for more materials. If you want to volunteer to help develop these materials, write to us.

  • Tag important accounts, DM people directly, repost the materials from @therevcoms on your account and in popular groups, forums and more.  Be ready for and welcome the controversy. If you run into questions you're not sure how to answer, reach out to us!  Or reach out to us in any case to let us know what's being stirred up and what you're learning.

** Spread “A Revolution Rhyme for This Historic Time”: This powerful rhyme is important in its own right and can have an important effect in helping the talk spread further—reaching inside people with creative and sharp ideological struggle. Spread the new audio version from Roosevelt from the Revolution Club in Chicago and the powerful video illustration of Miles Solay's reading. In addition to reposting and spreading these versions, do your own version and write to us with ideas.

** Post this everywhere: Starting this week and over a series of weeks, we are aiming for national “saturation”—so that people start seeing these materials everywhere, in Spanish and English, and spreading across the country... breaking through the poisonous idea that “there is no alternative.”

  • Stay tuned for materials to post all over your neighborhood, campus and city. Download this initial palm card now. 

  • Take pictures of whatever you post so this can be amplified on social media, tag us @therevcoms.

  • This is part of spreading the word, provoking debate and discussion and building up organized networks across the country. Make this a project of your Revolution Club. If you don't yet have a Revolution Club in your area, this can be part of how you start pulling people together to organize one.

** Join a three-part Zoom discussion to get more deeply into the talk itself—grappling together with others about the analysis and plan concentrated in this historic presentation. ** Contribute generously, and raise funds, for large billboards to go up in cities across the country, announcing this talk—breaking open a national controversy and debate about a force rising up from the underground, organizing for revolution for real with the leadership and plan for this concentrated in this talk. This will require tens of thousands of dollars raised right away to get started, which will begin a months-long effort that will increase in scale and scope—interconnected with plans to implement this talk, intensifying the overall impact and debate. Raising these funds is also a critical way to build up and support the organized forces for revolution. Write to us with ideas and stay tuned for a fundraising livestream happening soon.

Revcom.us projects BA’s voice, leadership, and vision throughout society. It posts his timely leadership for the revcoms (revolutionary communists) and the whole movement for revolution, including his social media posts, and curates his whole body of work. 

Our website applies the scientific approach BA has developed to analyze major events in society and the world—why they are happening, how they relate to each other, how all this relates to the system we live under, where people's interests lie, how revolution is in fact the solution to all this, and what the goals of that revolution are.

Revcom.us acts as a guiding and connecting hub for the revcom movement nationwide: showing what’s being done, digging into what’s right and what’s wrong, and rapidly learning—and recruiting new people into what has to be a rapidly growing force. Put it this way: there will be no revolution unless this website not only “keeps going” but rises to a whole different level!
