  1. The political struggle now going on in Chicago to STOP ICE is a critical front in this. The many people from all walks of life who are standing up to these armed and lawless bullies are setting an inspiring example. At the same time, their Fuehrer Trump vowed on 60 Minutes to continue and escalate this mayhem. All this absolutely shows there is no living with this fascism—and people are righteously resisting being told to do so.

  1. This regime must not only be resisted, but nonviolently driven from power. Short of that, these horrors will not only continue but intensify. For that reason the spirit, militance, unity and willingness to sacrifice now rising in the Chicago area must be strategically fused with the growing nationwide struggle to actually marshal millions to nonviolently drive out the regime—a struggle that is now gathering force in DC.

Getting this dynamic right—so that the heroic struggle being waged by everyday people in Chicago further inspires people all over the country to step up the urgent struggle to drive out this regime, and so that people in Chicago can both draw strength from and bring strength to the struggle focused in DC—this relationship will be one crucial way to advance the whole larger and ever more urgent goal: the Fall of the Trump Fascist Regime.
