BUT WHAT ARE THE INTERESTS OF THE MASSES?

From Gaza in Palestine to Yemen, from Iraq to Syria, the U.S. is sponsoring, reinforcing or directly carrying out mayhem and murder against oppressed people. The genocidal U.S.-Israeli war against the Palestinian people has not only imposed horrific suffering on the people of Palestine… it has also turned the whole region into a keg of dynamite. 

And for what? To maintain their top-dog position in a system that imposes brutal exploitation and terrible oppression on tens of millions of people here, and literally billions throughout the world. Again, look at Gaza where they backed up Israel in the murder of over 10,000 children. The rulers of the U.S. are nothing but legit gangsters aiming to both repress those they oppress when they rise up AND to fight for dominance against their rival “legit” gangsters in China and Russia and any other power that gets in their way, including especially Iran in the Middle East. 

Don’t be played! The interests of the rulers of this capitalist-imperialist system are not our interests!! We should NOT defend their system—their system is the problem, everywhere you look. Nor should we side with their rivals. This whole capitalist-imperialist system needs to be brought down, and replaced with one aiming for the emancipation of ALL humanity.

As the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian has said, “We, the people of the world, can no longer afford to allow these imperialists to continue to dominate the world and determine the destiny of humanity. They have to be overthrown as quickly as possible. And it is a scientific fact that humanity does not have to live this way.”

Our website applies the scientific approach BA has developed to analyze major events in society and the world—why they are happening, how they relate to each other, how all this relates to the system we live under, where people's interests lie, how revolution is in fact the solution to all this, and what the goals of that revolution are.

Revcom.us acts as a guiding and connecting hub for the revcom movement nationwide: showing what’s being done, digging into what’s right and what’s wrong, and rapidly learning—and recruiting new people into what has to be a rapidly growing force.
