Welcome to Revcom.us and the new issue of Revolution. From Ukraine to Iran to Haiti, from the struggle for abortion rights within the U.S. to the crisis around racism in the Los Angeles City Council, we let you know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and where do the interests of humanity lie in key developments around the world and within the U.S.

More than that, we bring you the scientific method and approach of the new communism brought forward by Bob Avakian, BA—the way to understand the world and go to work on transforming it. We try to apply that analysis in everything we write, and we bring you BA’s body of work itself, where you can dig into it. Of crucial importance in this right now: the analysis and strategy that BA has developed for making revolution in this rare time when revolution becomes more possible. Something Terrible, Or Something Truly Emancipating: Profound Crisis, Deepening Divisions, The Looming Possibility Of Civil War—And The Revolution That Is Urgently Needed, A Necessary Foundation, A Basic Roadmap For This Revolution puts forward an in-depth foundational analysis of the clashing forces of this period and how, within the extremely heavy things going down—including events and developments that threaten the very existence of humanity—there also exists the possibility for something truly emancipating: a revolution. “Something Terrible, OR Something Truly Emancipating” lays out how to go to work to make that real. And there is as well Organizing for an Actual Revolution: 7 Key Points—a concentrated expression of that strategy that can be used by everyone who is, or becomes, active in this movement for revolution. And the Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America, authored by BA, presents the sweeping vision and concrete blueprint for moving to build the new world humanity needs after the revolution.

From the genocide in Gaza, to the growing threat of world war between nuclear powers, to escalating environmental devastation… the capitalist-imperialist system ruling over us is a horror for billions around the world and is tearing up the fabric of life on earth. The website revcom.us follows and applies that leadership and is essential to all this. We post new materials from BA and curate his whole body of work. We apply the science he’s developed to analyze and expose every key event in society, every week. Revcom.us posts BA’s timely leadership for the revcoms (revolutionary communists), including his social media posts which break this down for people every week and sometimes more. We act as a guiding and connecting hub for the growing revcom movement nationwide: not just showing what’s being done, but going into what’s right and what’s wrong and rapidly learning—and recruiting new people into what has to be a rapidly growing force.

Put it this way: there will be no revolution unless this website not only “keeps going” but goes up to a whole different level!
