The world today is perched on the edge. War in Ukraine threatens the whole planet, while the U.S. moves to more deeply—and dangerously—intervene… states pass vicious anti-woman laws as the Supreme Court moves closer to wiping out the right to abortion… the murder of Black people by police goes on, as the environment burns and another horrific crisis on immigration looms at the border… Programs for reform won’t deal with it. People don’t know how to act.
As Bob Avakian, the revolutionary thinker and author of the new communism, has said: “We have two choices: either live with all this—and condemn future generations to the same, or worse, if they have a future at all—or, make revolution!”
This site covers that world, shows you why nothing less than revolution can deal with the potentially humanity-ending problems we face, and lets you into that revolution. Along with our sister platform, The RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less!— Show on Youtube, this site gets into what is happening, why it is happening, and how it is connected to this revolution. Every Monday morning, we bring you the science, the strategy, and the morality of the new communism, and the leadership of its author, Bob Avakian. We give you the ways to learn about, support and step into the movement to make revolution… in this rare time when revolution COULD be made.
One thing you get at this site is the strategy for revolution. We highlight the extremely important and timely recent talk from Bob Avakian (BA), "SOMETHING TERRIBLE, OR SOMETHING TRULY EMANCIPATING: Profound Crisis, Deepening Divisions, The Looming Possibility of Civil War—And The Revolution That Is Urgently Needed. A Necessary Foundation, A Basic Roadmap For This Revolution" (go here to listen to, or here to read this talk). In this work, BA goes into the clash at the “top” of society—the ruling class—between the fascist Republican party and those grouped around the Democrats and Biden, and how this is polarizing all of society. He shows how the way they have done things for decades has broken down and can’t be put back together. And he writes that:
It is true that there are a lot of very bad things connected with the present polarization and the whole trajectory things are on, and this could lead to something really terrible; but it is also true, and of profound importance, that it is possible that we could wrench something really positive out of it—revolution, to put an end to this system and bring something much better into being. But, once more, this requires recognizing the situation, and the current trajectory of things, for what they are—and responding in a way and on a level that is commensurate with this, is in accordance with the profound stakes involved—acting to change things, urgently, toward the goal of getting rid of this whole system, and replacing it with something radically different and much better.
In many other works on this site, BA analyzes how this relates to different important struggles. These articles include his deep analyses of the explosive and dangerous situation in Ukraine, the battle for abortion rights, and other sharp questions in the movement—like the “woke” craziness that causes so much confusion, misdirection and destruction among the people, or the reasons why so many people right now just “go with the flow” instead of rising up—and what must be done about that.

One key way to do this—to get organized—is through watching The RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less!—Show on YouTube . The show—through commentaries, interviews, videos and other features—gives you a different way to get into all this. And watching and discussing this show together with others every week is one critical way to get organized, and to organize others, into the movement for this revolution.
