Welcome to the Revolution. The third and the final segment of the three-part special edition of The Bob Avakian Interviews on The RNL—Revolution Nothing Less!—Show is now streaming! Watch on the show’s YouTube channel.
These interviews are an epic tour-de-force where people get to meet and know Bob Avakian as never before. Going through these interviews impacts and changes people. The debut of these videos on-line and where people came to watch together was a glimpse of what is necessary and possible in these times. These experiences need to multiply, scale up and spread throughout society going from thousands to tens of thousands and on from there. For this to happen, we all have a role to play.
* While speaking to the biggest questions facing humanity Bob Avakian, BA, tells of the formative experiences of his life: the people and events in the world that shaped—and changed—him. We learn of the transformative influence of his Black friends, their experiences, and their struggles amidst the tumultuous sixties. Those who have watched, coming from many different perspectives, were moved by “the humanity” of BA and “got” how this infuses the revolution and the future he is fighting for.
BA brings alive why we need, and how we can actually make, a revolution in this country, showing how the small forces for revolution of today could quickly grow to the millions needed. He pulls no punches in struggling sharply with all the thinking that stands in the way of people getting with this revolution. He goes hard at all the “woke” BS that has people blaming and canceling each other while scrounging for crumbs from the system.
A burning theme in these interviews is BA’s scientific analysis of this historical moment in this country, where “those who rule this country are so divided, with deep crisis and divisions so profound—that they cannot be resolved within the normal workings of this system. What lies ahead is either a terrible—murderously oppressive—future, or the possibility of a truly emancipating future through a real revolution, a revolution that is more possible because of these great divisions.” This is radically different than what most people think. BA reveals the roots of these divisions in the system we live under, the changes that people will be confronted with like taking away the right to abortion which can jolt people awake, and what is to be done to wrench an emancipating future from the jaws of threatening horrors.
In the third Interview, we get a penetrating glimpse into why a new state power—brought about through an actual revolution—would be a great and liberating thing as envisioned in the new communism and concentrated in the Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America—authored by BA.

* Third, with the future hanging in the balance, whether this Interview is spread, is fought for and engaged widely will impact whether it will be a terrible future, or one that is truly emancipating.
This is not just a promotional campaign—these interviews can play a major role in changing the thinking of whole blocs of people if they are being watched, talked about and debated very broadly. For that to happen, we must be on a mission to work through the obstacles that stand in the way.
Raising significant funds, right now as we enter the holiday “giving” season: To break out the Bob Avakian interview on The RNL Show along with this website, and the movement for revolution beyond the audience we reach now will require big money. We all have a crucial role to play in this—all of us who have watched any of this, have been moved by it, perceive the impact and difference this can make. It is on us to get this out far beyond the “usual suspects.” Each person who has been moved by these Interviews is part of a broader community of people who don’t know each other. Rather than feeling alone or discouraged in the face of obstacles, we need to see ourselves as a collective force on a mission to challenge and change all the wrong and bullshit ways people are thinking—that blinds them to the reality and keeps them locked in the horrific present. This is what BA does and that has to be put before people. We must close the huge gap—the yawning chasm—between BA in these Interviews and the numbers that have so far watched it. In addition, this week, we report on the continuing heroic struggle of the masses in Iran against the theocratic regime. As we report, protestors outraged at the savage repression by the regime burned down the childhood home of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a figure who has been literally deified by the regime.
We want to highlight the reposting of an article from Bob Avakian, BA, Imperialist Parasitism and “Democracy”: Why So Many Liberals and Progressives Are Shameless Supporters of “Their” Imperialism, originally published in March 2022. It is highly relevant in relation to the heroic uprising of the masses of people now taking place in Iran against the reactionary Islamic fundamentalist regime. It is crucial to understand and oppose the actual nature and role of the U.S. as the world’s most murderously oppressive and exploitative capitalist-imperialist power—especially for those in the U.S. In relation to the struggle in Iran, there is an urgent need to resist the efforts to bring the uprising in Iran under the wing of these U.S. imperialists—and those aligned with them—and, instead, to help direct it toward a truly emancipating revolution, as the Communist Party of Iran, Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, basing themselves on the new communism brought forward by BA, are striving to do.
Further underscoring the urgent need for an ACTUAL revolution, to overthrow this system at the soonest possible time, this week, we feature articles on:
* the inter-imperialist US/NATO proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, and the danger this poses to taking the world to the brink of nuclear war;
* on the call from Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights for protests December 1, the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's oral arguments in the case that would go on to overturn women's fundamental right to abortion, revealing how the Democrats have adjusted to the terms of this illegitimate ruling;
* on the continuing savage repression of immigrants at the Texas border and the fact that the Democrats have NO ANSWER;
* on the COP27 global warming summit in Egypt showing how the “bright lights” story coming out of COP27—on monies from the imperialist countries (responsible for the majority of carbon emissions) to be used for loss and damage to the Third World countries (suffering most of its effects)—is an utter, despicable sham.
